Access in and out of Midland Harbour dock slips will be restricted from 7 p.m - 8 p.m. on Friday, August 9, during the Battle of Georgian Bay. The purpose of this restriction is to avoid having recreational boaters trying to enter/exit the area while the firing and action takes place on the ships during the Battle.

King Street will be closed from Yonge St. to Bayshore Dr. on Friday, August 9, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Battle of Georgian Bay. Street parking will not be accessible during this time. If your vehicle is parked on King Street when the closure begins at 4 p.m., you will not be able to leave until the closure re-opens. A 'rolling' open will take place, meaning that King Street will re-open in stages as the Battle progresses down King Street to the Harbour.
