What comes to mind when you hear Municipal Law Enforcement (By-law Enforcement)? Probably parking tickets is the first thing to pop up. But did you know there is so much more?

Our staff enforce many different Town by-laws, including noise, firearm restriction, fireworks, open fires, taxi cab and driver licencing, refreshment vehicles, clean yards and property standards.

We answer over 600 calls a year ranging from a barking dog to unsafe buildings. Please see the "recent projects" for some before and after pictures of properties in your neighbourhood that we have dealt with.

This was a complaint of accumulations of debris, garbage, and derelict vehicles. Staff issued a notice to clean, when the home owner did not comply, the Town hired contractors to complete the job.
